Really nice place, apartments are big, warm pool, great views. Walk to beach and sand blow. Shame the tapas bar wasn't open.
Location wise, this resort is located in a great spot, just a few hundred metres walk from patrolled beaches, sand dunes as well as restaurants, shops and bars/pubs. This central location makes it really easy to never have to use your car. The resort itself is quite high quality, with big, spacious apartments full of decent quality finishes and a few bells and whistles. Most apartments, even ground floor, offer good ocean views and a great ocean breeze. The resort is small, cosy and easy to get around. Room layouts offer a good use of space and big enough to not bump into others, but small enough to still feel cozy. I'd certainly like to head back there again in time as overall, it was a very good experience. Only real negatives are the rooms could've been cleaned to a slightly higher standard and the lack of key-entry on the back level of the ground floor apartments is pretty bad design, but besides that, nothing I can complain about.
Excellent location on the main street of Rainbow Beach. Easy access to the beach and a short walk to the coloured sands. Rooms are well appointed, clean and spacious. We opted for a room with patio and roof terrace with bbq. Take advantage of the discount for the helicopter flights - well worth the price for the view and experience.
