The very first time ever I had "wine on tap" (beer available too). Novel idea that was ok for the white wines but wasn't impressed with the shiraz on tap (quite cold). The wine lacked body and flavor. Staff needs to be a bit friendlier.
Unfortunately this once beautiful pub is now totally run down. Service and food was average. The whole pub appeared filthy.
Rather impressed. It was new years eve and the brissos were in plague proportion but the bar staff just had it under control. Had lots of of fun with very little stress. Will be back.....
Came here during a whole-town blackout as the pub was the only place with power (already a good start). Huge numbers of people so service wasn't fast (took over an hour for our meals to arrive) but obviously not normal circumstances. Despite this, food was good and there was plenty of it. Prices are standard fare for a pub meal.
Quite a surprise in this small little town. Nice seating, good food and a good vibe. My only concern was the lack of craft beer on tap. Thankfully they had Pacific Ale pints so I was happy.
