This was an amazing experience. The staff were friendly, helpful and most of all I felt so safe from the beginning to the end. Definitely this will be a return experience.
I enjoyed my horse riding experience with Rainbow Beach team overall. Beach is very long and beautiful and will suit beginners perfectly. However, for experienced riders there are not many opportunities to trot and canter. Given how big the team of riding instructors is, I would recommend to separate beginners from experienced riders and meet the needs of every level.Big plus is that during the ride you get photographed constantly and we received many beautiful photos of our ride, including in the water. However, would suggest to make videos as well next time.
How Awesome to ride on the beach, What an Experience. Having never been on a horse ever, this was going to be an experience to remember. And being able to do this on such an great beach just topped it off.From the moment we arrived you felt the friendly vibe from the team and comfortable knowing that you would be looked after for todays ride. We all spent about 1/2 hour engaged in about what to do and not to do on the ride and which I think made you feel comfortable before jumping on your allocated horse. Mine for the day was Rosie. After jumping on and a quick adjustment of the stirrups, we were all off for our walk. From the stables we were lead single file across the roadway and onto a trail through the surrounding bushland onto Rainbow Beach. Once on the sand we all grouped more casually to walk along and to chat away and at times going into the water. They have a fair distance on the beach that they are allowed for the ride and we used all of it for the 2hr ride, and at the rides end we all just do the reverse to get back to the stables. I dont know why its taken me this long to do this ride but so glad I have had the chance to do it. Also just to mention that at no time throughout the ride did I think my safety was at risk, just so enjoyable. For me I think Rosie was a very good match, thanks Helen. Im thinking I could be hooked.
Hi Helen, Jimmy here. Here is my review. Well, although this place was not my first option, choosing Rainbow Beach Horse Rides turn out to be a good choice for my group. I made the booking for 3 people only 1 day in advance due to the other one got cancelled. They managed to put us in. On the day, Helen and Kayla explained all the information required, show us how to make horse moving forward, reverse or turn before and during the journey. Helen and Kayla are really experienced guide for first time riders. They can even take photos for you with their device and your phone and will send to your phone/USB free of charge. Horse are nice and clean. The Rainbow beach is nice and the weather was perfect. I have so many photos and memory now with Rainbow Beach Horse Rides
I cant say enough good things about our family experience on the country day ride. First the staff was amazing from answering all our questions before we even got there thru the whole ride. Andrew and Kayla were so accommodating and can handle any level of rider. They even spotted a wild koala bear for us. Although Im guessing this was just a lucky bonus. We got to do all sorts of riding and we had the most amazing scenery. After a few hours of riding we had the most delicious and really more than expected lunch. I was afraid I would be so sore to get back in the saddle after lunch but I was totally fine. Must be the great horses and equipment. We will be back again !!!
