Absolutely delicious food! Best calamari I've ever had!! Lady was nice and polite, definitely recommend! Good old fashioned fish and chip shop!
Disgusting Customer service! After last year getting food poisoning from this shop I went back hesitantly this year due to no other fish and chip shops being open. I asked the old woman serving "what's your freshest fish?" She growled at me not to ask that question and told me she was over serving the public and she was meant to close 1 hour ago, and that it was her wedding anniversary! Terrible. Will never return.
Don't serve mullet as Dory!They taste differently and both have a distinctive SHAPE! Good grief!Any salvation that may have been gleaned from serving cracking chips...One MASSIVE FAIL!If it were not for the continuum of backpackers trying this business for the first time it would not exist at all.The staff are bogans of the first order.
Good seafood and enjoyable banter. There is a sign in the counter about the value of women which every woman and seemingly many men love. I was told there is more coming. While waiting we watched an old Cliff Richards movie on the TV suspended in the shop. Altogether a pleasant experience
First, if you can't read or adverse to following directions, you might want to go somewhere else. Driving a Caravan? Just pull up on the grass in front. Huge selection; select your fish, take it fresh or get it cooked to perfection. Knowledgeable woman behind the counter was very helpful, quick and professional.
