I went to this salon to have eye lash extensions, which were the most expensive extensions I have ever paid at $150. So I thought they should be really good. Wrong. The whole process took well over an hour and my eyes were very uncomfortable. The final lashes were far shorter than I asked for, very hard and uncomfortably and you couldnt really tell that I had just paid a ridiculous amount of money for "professional" extensions. I followed all the directions of not washing or steaming the lashes for the next 48 hrs. The glue made my eyes very sore for the next 2 weeks, to which the extensions then started to fall out. They were totally gone by the end of week 2. I contacted the salon to cancel a new hair colour appointment and eye lash extension refill (there wasn't anything left to refill). I explained my total disappointed with the service and lack of value for money. I was offered a discount on my next appointment but declined. Why throw good money after bad? I won't go back, I won't recommend and as I'm also a local, I will now drive 45mins back into Gympie instead of visiting this salon. Save your money and find somewhere better
The girls at Rainbow Beach Hair and Beauty are all amazing they always do amazing jobs with everything they are all so friendly and love to have a chat and make every experience enjoyable and relaxing. Im currently doing IPL which is a permanent hair removal and Im having everything done and its such an easy painless process. The IPL treatment is a great price of about $2000 for 6 treatments which is a huge saving from shavers for the rest of my life. Yes it is a lot but they do a payment plan which is fantastic so if your worried about having to pay it upfront just talk to them and they should be able to work out some sort of payment plan for you. So thank you to all the girls at Rainbow Beach Hair and Beauty for what you have done for me.
Rainbow Hair and Beauty is brilliant! The staff were really friendly, and I had a lovely chat while my hair was being cut. I am travelling around Australia- the price was very reasonable. I went with 2 other travellers. We were all seen one after the other by the same Barbar. The service couldn't have been better. Would recommend to anyone needing a haircut/ beauty treatment. Both male and female. If travelling through Rainbow Beach again- would pay another visit!
